United Patrol Security Services Inc. is currently seeking a reliable and professional Full-Time Standing Guard to join our team. As a standing guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of visibility and vigilance to deter unauthorized access and criminal activity.
- Monitor access points and control the flow of people and vehicles entering and exiting the premises.
- Patrol the premises on foot, maintain a presence in designated areas and report any suspicious behavior or security breaches to the supervisor.
- Check and inspect security systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist employees and visitors with information and directions.
- Prepare written incident reports detailing any security breaches, incidents, or emergencies that occur on the premises.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations and provide appropriate assistance as required.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid guard card or have the ability to obtain one before employment.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work independently and have good judgment skills.
- Must have good physical stamina and be able to stand and walk for long periods.
- Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) Monday-Friday.
- Must have a clean criminal record and be able to pass a background check.
